strong archetype
i was in albany this week locating a place to call home, my mountain in the city... a 4th floor walk up (the first picture below), on the historic state street that leads to the capital building of new york.
the architecture in this city is very powerful and bold, with a beautiful sensitivity to detail...stately. i hope its (the architecture) strength and creative energies will have a lasting effect on me.

I didn't expect all of the high-rises,etc. I know it is the capital city of NY, but somehow thought it would not have the big city look? Your place looks great. Reminds me of your place in Rochester somehow. Mom
