did it sink in so far that it affected my painting as well... "bigger is better"?? i suck at small. this tiny piece has been kicking my ass. is this a normal thing for painters? i just don't feel as free.. if i pull this one off it will be a miracle and its been a month already...not that im a fast painter at all.

this cat plays a 70 year old guitar and makes it sound like 5... his lyrics are politcal, well thought out and sometimes a bit crude... even for me:) but what a show! he has a great love song he sings to his guitar, talking about how he delivered pizzas to get it out of layaway. his live show is much better than what i heard on his site previous, glad i went. www.hamellontrial.com

saw a documentary called "keep the river to your right" which was about an anthropologist cat who immersed himself into the tribal cultures of peru in the 1960's. he found out and participated in many things ie.. cannibalism, homosexuality, tribal rituals etc.. at age 74 he decided to return to this area of the world and revisit his past.
"smoke signal" was a quaint movie full of unique characters on an indian reservation. a young man deals with the mistakes of his father and the journey of forgiveness.
then there is "blue car" a hopeful movie at first about life as a troubled teen, only to witness an outrageous misuse of friendship and trust.
