so i would love to get some of my political friends and or all friends/family, take on the democratic tidal wave that happend this week. as im sure you know im joyful.. at least at the obvious outcry for change. i hope we are getting wiser as people as to who makes a good leader and who does not. i have been saying for years, " it may have more to it than speaking the people's language, with cute words like nucular??" i am wary that the democrats will not step up to the plate and make a difference... politics as a whole seem to be going down the drain. right on, to the independents that won out there!!

just something to think about --- I have not heard a "plan" of any kind from the dems that tells me they are any better prepared to handle this situation we are in than the republicans were. they always seem to stand for more government involvement and control and I don't like that. Perhaps the independent way is the only way that truly cares for the nation and not the political party. . . . . just a thought.
it seems, to really have a shot as independents, there might have to be an uprising... a coup..(sp) or something.. but i do agree it is needed, historically the politics of our government (rep & dem) has not taken care of the "people".
just a reminder.
lieberman was a democrat until ned lamont handed him his ass in the primary.
independent is just a clever way of saying i am not a neo-con or a liberal.

good point... i dont consider lieberman an independent. in my book you must first be independent from the corruption, lobbyist etc... to be an independent?
